Chalet Merlo is a stunning and luxurious catered ski chalet sleeping up to 12 people and offering a wealth of choice, service and quality in surroundings that are truly spectacular. In the heart of the French Alps and with five world renowned ski resorts within a 20 minute drive, breathtaking views, beautiful decor and a wide selection of upscale amenities as well as an unobtrusive and experienced team of staff for whom nothing is too much trouble, fine dining menus and quality wines.

Chalet Merlo has been rebuilt in authentic Savoie style whilst offering modern facilities. No expense has been spared in the luxurious designer furnishings and original artwork. After a hard day's skiing, unwind in front of a glowing fire while sipping a glass of fine wine in our living area and enjoying the stunning panoramic view, or take some time to dip into our extensive library of books and DVDs in the home cinema. The kids will enjoy the mezzanine seating area equipped with Playstation and Xbox video game systems and for those needing peace of mind in relation to work, full office facilities and WiFi are available for you to keep in touch.

The chalet sleeps up to 12 people in 6 relaxing, spacious rooms, all with modern ensuite bathrooms, with the highest quality bed linens, soft, fluffy towels, designer bathrobes, and luxurious toiletries.

We can accommodate larger groups when the chalet is rented in conjunction with its sister Chalet Pecchio right next door.

Our staff are here to ensure that your expectations are exceeded. An unobtrusive team who are helpful and experienced with nothing too much trouble. We have a knowledgeable and helpful chalet manager, a fully qualified chef, chalet hostess and chauffeur.

Your private chef will look after you and prepare delicious four course, fine dining menus on 6 nights of the week using fresh, local ingredients. Dinners will be accompanied by high quality, carefully chosen house wines. On chalet night off we will recommend good local restaurants. The chef will also prepare a cooked breakfast and have a fresh, homemade cake waiting for you on your return to the chalet.

Our Operations Manager will be able to help you with any extra activities you may like to do such as snow shoeing, dog sledding, skidoo rides, etc as well as organise additional transport around the area. We can recommend and book local ski guides for our more experienced guests or we will be happy to offer a guiding service for those not familiar with the area.

Chalet Merlo is nestled between five world class resorts: Val d'Isere, Tignes, Ste Foy, Les Arcs/La Plagne and La Rosiere. All under 20 minutes away, each offers something different. Check the conditions the night before and choose the best resort for the next day's activities. Getting there is easy with your own private minibus and chauffeur. Of course, the best part is being able to come home after the hustle and bustle of a busy resort to the comfort of the chalet.

At the end of the day, or indeed at any time, why not let us book you a variety of massage and spa treatments in our private spa chalet and our spacious sauna is available to our guests at all times. After your day of indulgence, slip into our secluded outdoor jacuzzi and enjoy the views of the Isere valley while sipping a glass of champagne.

Our staff are on hand to advise and help with equipment hire, ski passes and any information you may need about the surrounding resorts and area.

Chalet Merlo is situated in the quaint and traditional alpine village of Le Miroir which is nestled halfway up the Tarentaise Valley in the French Alps. It is surrounded by the five world renowned resorts of Val d'Isere, Tignes, Ste Foy, Les Arcs/La Plagne and La Rosiere each of which is no more than 10-25 minutes from the chalet.

Our location offers access to skiing and snowboarding terrain that we believe is unmatched in the world.

The nearest airports are Chambery, Grenoble, Lyon and Geneva. The nearest train station is Bourg St Maurice which is a 15 min drive from the chalet - ideal for Eurostar direct trains from London St Pancras.
