La Forge

Chalet La Forge is a chic boutique chalet located near the ski pistes of Les Houches in the spectacular Chamonix valley. Fully renovated in a retro, farmhouse style the chalet is particularly well suited to large groups. The chalet has 7 bedrooms, most can be offered on a flexible basis as twins or superking doubles and each room has a private or en-suite facility with wc. The chalet is run on a totally flexible basis for groups or singles, Ski Weekends, weeks, or great value mid week breaks.
Our service is comprehensive beginning with our personal reservations service, we are here to answer any questions you may have about the chalet or Chamonix valley. Group airport transfers and the in-resort minibus service is included to whisk you to the slopes in warmth and comfort or you can walk to the Les Houches pistes instead. We offer free delivery to the chalet of pre-booked equipment and passes booked via our office whilst our experience of more than 25yrs in the chamonix valley means we have perfected the art of delivering a superb chalet service!

Excellent facilities include all seven rooms with private or ensuite, a sauna, an outdoor hot tub, 50" plasma TV with wii, and Freeview Sky, DVD/Music system, fireplace, and treatment room with massage bed. Table football for children (and adults!) Guest computer.
What keeps our guests returning again and again is our superb chalet service, provided by three dedicated staff including our excellent chef. We offer our delicious and stylish cusine on 5 nights out of 7 with canapes and aperitifs to start with followed by 4 courses of restaurant quality cuisine. One night is eat out and one night we offer a lighter 'farmhouse' supper. Our in-resort minibus run every day for a ski drop and pick up and to your favourite restaurants or apres ski bars too!

The chalet is located a short walk from the Les Houches ski pistes and 10 mins by car or minibus to Chamonix town. On your door-step there is the excellent Les Houches ski area (brilliant for families) including the famous World Cup ski piste 'Le Kandahar' or just a short minibus ride away there are 4 other ski areas each offering a diverse range of slopes to suit all levels of skier or snowboader. Les Houches also has it's own snowboard park and several excellent restaurants and bars ideal for apres ski!
