Chalet Le Cret

Centrally located and perfectly convenient, Chalet Le Cret is much more than a catered ski chalet. It is a place where you will feel as comfortable as you would in your own home. We invite you to put your feet up and relax.

Built in 1952 by Alpine craftsmen, Le Cret is full of fab features from the decade – beautiful furniture mixed with contemporary fittings give it a traditional but cosy and boutique feel.

You’ll also find it fully equipped with all modern requirements, including free WIFI access, UK TV, DVD and HD Apple TV. Feel free to plug in your MP3 player into the sound system and chill in a spacious living area adorned with urban and modern art and coupled with amazing mountain views.

The bedrooms at chalet Le Cret are individually styled and themed in a move away from the usual standard Alpine chalet offering. Our Egyptian cotton bed linen, gorgeous throws, cushions, lamps and vases create a zen-like feel in which to relax.

These 6 unique, charming and spacious rooms can sleep up to 12 people between them and are split into 3 distinct units. Each unit consists of a hallway, two bedrooms and it’s own toilet and bathroom (with high power showers and oodles of hot water!). Families and small groups will appreciate the privacy of having their own area whilst still being able to enjoy the social environment of the chalet as a whole.

Chatel is one of the 12 resorts that make up the Portes Du Soleil, the largest International linked ski area in the world. There are 650km of piste, 220 lifts and an endless number of fabulous slopeside restaurants and bars.

We invite all our guests to come out on the slopes with us when we can point you in the direction of pistes for all standards. Super Chatel, just 300m from the chalet, is the perfect area for beginners and families with plenty of gentle nursery slopes and stunning panorama views taking in Mont Blanc. It’s snow-park and boarder cross course are worth a visit too.

From the Pre La Joux area you can launch straight into the heart of Chatel which has the best snow making infrastructure in the Portes Du Soleil. This additional snow coverage and its North facing slopes ensures great skiing from December through to April.
