Chalet One

Chalet One dates back over 500 years.

It is a stunning, traditional French farmhouse situated in the farming hamlet of La Masure.

Chalet One offers a unique insight into the true French Alpine lifestyle, so far removed from the purpose-built resorts with their "industrial" skiing and package holiday crowds.

Chalet One offers particularly spacious, comfortable and homely accommodation for up to twelve adults in six double/twin bedrooms (five en-suite and one with a private shower room). For those of you who have been before, we have installed an internal staircase making the chalet as one and increasing the living space. All the bedrooms are entirely individual in character – towels, bathrobes, hair dryers and toiletries are all provided.

Children are more than welcome.

The living accommodation consists of comfortable lounge with a wood burner in the interior of the original 500 year old wooden chalet, around which the stone walls of the chalet were constructed in 1668! There is a kitchen/breakfast room and a separate dining room for evening meals.

There is also a TV room with bunk beds (only available to groups booking the whole chalet), with Sky TV, DVD and Playstation. Wireless internet connection is available.
