Chalet Le Dragon is nestled on the mountain side in the beautiful town of La Chapelle d’Abondance and is less than 10 minutes walk from the restaurants and apres ski bars. It stands opposite the main connecting ski lift to the Portes du Soleil area and it is the perfect choice for your ski or summer vacation offering luxury accommodation for up to 12 adults and flexible options for children.

Chalet Le Dragon has been constructed to a very high standard and considerable thought has been given to the design and fitting out of the ski chalet. Particular time and emphasis has been put on making it cosy yet spacious enough so that you may enjoy spending your leisure time in the company of others or quietly alone.

La Chapelle d’Abondance offers enough facilities and services to satisfy all the needs of the discerning traveller. There are over 10 restaurants, apres-ski bars and Pizzerias to discover and enjoy; including one of the oldest restaurants in the valley, Les Cornettes and also the infamous Fer Rouge micro-brewery and restaurant. These are all less than a 10 minute walk from the chalet.

There is a well-stocked InterMarche, Tabac and gift shops showcasing regional specialities, a delicatessen, a bakery and patisserie, currency exchange services and ATM, a tourist information, post office, a laundrette and medical facilities.

The village is part of the Portes du Soleil ski area with 650km of alpine skiing runs and 35km of Nordic trails to enjoy surrounded by forests of magnificent fir trees.

The village forms the perfect base for an all year round holiday, with easy access to the lifts taking you up to the mountainside or if you prefer you can follow the path of the River Dranse as it winds its way throughout the valley.
