Chalet La Plagnette

Chalet La Plagnette is a wonderful example of a lovingly restored, 18th century farmhouse situated just minutes from Morzine town centre. The plush accommodation is spread over two floors, and is finished to a high standard with contemporary, modern furnishings. The spacious, open plan living and dining area contains double height ceilings, exposing a wealth of beautiful original oak beam work, and also contains a brand new, stunning feature wood burning fireplace creating a cosy environment in which to relax and enjoy a drink whilst reliving the exploits of the day. A flat-screen TV with English Sky channels means that you never have to miss that important sporting event or favourite show, whilst the iPod docking stations and DVD/CD player can provide subtle background sounds.

Sliding doors open out on to a large chill out area of balcony, with fabulous views along the valley to Nyon and Ressachaux. Steps lead down to the garden area and the quietly located hot tub.

The all-important dining area is again, double height giving a feeling of grandeur. With views across the valley it is a lovely spot to enjoy a hearty breakfast, transforming into an ambient dinner setting in the evening.

From this level, there are two separate mezzanine areas, one used as a TV lounge complete with flat screen TV, DVD and Playstation 3, and the second is a private area that forms part of the family suite complete with separate bedroom and shower room.

A large heated boot room and ski locker is located downstairs with external access meaning that ski boots can be removed and slippers donned the minute you return home!

The chalet is able to accommodate up to 13 people ifthe dynamic of the group allows.

After a hard day on the mountain, why not enjoy a glass of bubbly in the large outdoor hot tub. Robes and slippers are provided so that the dash to the bubbling hot water is not too extreme!

All bathrooms are provided with complimentary Molton Brown toiletries and big fluffy towels which will be refreshed mid week.

The honesty guest bar is regularly stocked with a number of refreshments and goodies for you to help yourself at any time of the day or night.

All your home entertainment needs are met by satellite TV, CD/DVD, Playstaion3, ipod docking stations and WIFI capabilities.

Cruise by the queues at the lift pass office, we will have your choice of hands free lift pass waiting for you upon your arrival meaning that you can get straight out onto the slopes and make the most of your time on the snow.

Enjoy all that the mountain has to offer by joining your knowledgeable hosts for a days skiing.

Avoid walking anywhere unnecessarily in heavy ski boots - your skis or snowboard will be waiting for you on board your private transport, to and from any of the Morzine-Avoriaz lifts.

Have your hire equipment fitted in comfort by having the hire shop come to you. We’ve teamed up with Doorstep Ski’s who will bring a wide selection of skis, boots and snowboards directly to the chalet upon your arrival, helping you get out and on the snow as quickly as possible.

Chalet La Plagnette is located, in our opinion, in a perfect location. Whilst being a mere 2 minute drive from Morzine town centre, it benefits from sitting in a quiet hamlet near Montriond, giving the feeling of space and privacy. We will happily drive you to either of the main Pleney and Super Morzine Telecabines and we are also happy to shuttle our guests to the Ardent Telecabine giving direct access to Linderets and the vast Avoriaz and Swiss ski areas. The chalet benefits from being just 20-25 minutes’ walk from the bars and restaurants but far enough away to achieve the sensation of rural France. The beauty of our surroundings is exquisite, with not a high-rise in site: - only mountains and countryside obscure our view.
