Description
Ideal for small groups or families, Chalet Anna offers very spacious accomodation in a homely, intimate chalet. The live in owners, Heather and Andy, who are qualified ski instructors offer a high quality guiding service for those that can already ski. The location means that a different ski area can be skied each day, which offers a very varied ski week. Heather and Andy pride themselves on being very flexible, especially with food, so alternative diets are well catered for. Guests have often commented that every aspect of their holiday is catered for, from the included airport transfers to not having to check out the piste maps on the mountains.
Facility Description
Chalet Anna is a warm homely house with bedrooms of excellent proportions, each one fully ensuite. There is a living room, separate dining room, Guest Tea Kitchen where hot drinks can be made, complete with an Honesty Snack Bar and fridge to chill your own beers, wine etc. A heated boot warmer ensures that your ski boots are toasty the next morning and a games room to keep youngsters busy. The chalet has a cot and other baby equipment as well as toys and games. As the owners are ex teachers, they offer in house child care (chargeable).
Location Description
Chalet Anna is situated in a small working village between Zell am See and Kitzbühel. Its location on the valley floor means that there are no scary hairpin bends on mountain roads to get to us and a range of excellent ski areas are quickly within reach. Within 15 to 25 minutes we access Zell am See, Kitzbühel, Saalbach Hingterglemm, Neukirchen, Kitzsteinhorn (Kaprun) Glacier, Weissee Glacier etc, all of which means that intermediate skiers can ski a different ski area each day of the week. Transfers to these slopes are in our 4 wheel drive minibus and we offer guiding to ensure that our guests get the most out of their ski holiday.
The chalet is in the village of Uttendorf and is only 2 mins walk from local shops where you can top up your duty free, or local bars, Internet cafe and ski hire shop.
