Description
Chalet Ingrid is a delightful chalet located 5 minutes from the centre of Chamonix. Although very centrally located it also enjoys the peace and tranquility of the mountains
Facility Description
This four bedroom chalet has all you need for a great holiday in the mountains. The chalet has three double bedrooms plus a twin bedroom, and is ideal for families or for a group of friends. The lounge has a open fireplace, large angled sofa, LCD flatscreen with SKY linkup. The fantastic kitchen will keep the most adventurous cook busy. The lounge opens out onto the garden with large patio windows.
Recently added is a superb hot tub that is located outside the rear of the chalet and allows you to sit and enjoy the superb view of the Drus and the stunning mountain range.
Chalet Ingrid is sold on a self-catering basis but we can provide private chefs or in-chalet dining should the Albert Premiere Michelin Star restaurant not meet all your needs!
Location Description
Chamonix is located at the foot of Mt Blanc in the heart of the French Alps yet only 1 hours easy drive from Geneva airport. In addition to the activities and attractions available locally you have a huge choice of places to visit near by: Italy. It takes 20 minutes, via the tunnel de Mt Blanc, to get to Italy where you can visit Courmeyeur, the Roman town of Aosta, the St Bernard Monastery or do some activities like via feratta, climbing or white water raft the Dora Balta considered one the best in Europe. Lac Leman or Lake Geneva. A short drive a way with many villages to visit such as the medieval village of Yvoire, Lausanne, Montreux and its Jazz festival, Geneva and many more. Annecy. Know as the Venice of the Alps, this beautiful town is and easy trip from Chamonix and offering heaps of culture and activities. Golf. There are over 25 courses within 90 minutes of Chamonix including the world famous Evian masters course.
