Description
We wanted to create a chalet experience that was everything that we desired from a holiday: comfortable beds, enough sofas for everyone to sit in, fabulous food, great surroundings, and a little touch of luxury!
Facility Description
Nestled in the trees, Le Torrent lies a snowball's throw from the ski run and offers fantastic views from all of its 6 en-suite bedrooms. The large, open plan, lounge and dining area has a huge roaring fire, it’s so inviting you’ll find it hard to leave! There is large terrace which is the perfect place to relax with a cup of tea and soak up the rays on a sunny day, whilst watching people skiing past.
After all that hard work, why not relax in the outdoor hot tub, which has a fantastic position next to the babbling (or frozen) river..
We want to indulge you as soon as your holiday begins and welcome you to our winter paradise with a champagne reception. The experience continues with our fabulous cuisine. Breakfasts are hearty and filling to give you a good start, with freshly-cooked croissant and a daily special. On your return from the slopes be tempted by our delicious cakes and a nice brew! The evening begins with pre-dinner drinks and canapés before you feast on a 3-course meal (with selected wines to compliment your food), followed by cheese and port. Then, put your feet up in front of the fire and enjoy coffee, petit fours, and digestifs (our home-made toffee vodka is becoming quite renowned!). We have a complimentary bar, with selected house wines, beers, spirits and mixers for you to enjoy during your stay.
Location Description
La Tania is, in our opinion, a well kept secret. It still retains its natural charm and, being part of the Three Valleys, it is not only the largest ski area in the world, it also boasts some of the best skiing. La Tania is set in a beautiful pine forest mid way between the Valleys of Courchevel and Meribel. Being part of 'les trois Vallées' it offers over 600km of groomed piste, from the wide open gentle greens and blues to the blacks and couloirs, there is plenty of skiing available for all abilities.
With all this talk of skiing there is still plenty for the non-skier to do. Why not treat yourself to a little retail therapy in nearby Meribel and Courchevel 1850? Or for the more energetic of you there are organized snowshoe walks of the mountains and forests. Perhaps you just fancy ice-skating, swimming, go-karting or tobogganing? Whatever you feel like doing, we can organize it for you.
