Le Zig Zag is an apartment building right in the mountain village of Les Coches just 50m from the blue piste to Montchavin and 50m from the new 6 man fast chairlift.

For those with balconies on the front there are stunning views over the Tarentaise valley and Mont Blanc with wonderful sunsets and for those on the rear of the building there are views of the piste.

The apartments are conveniently located close to slopes, lift system and close to shops, small super market, tourist office, ski hire, ski lifts, parking, restaurants and bars. There is free parking in front of the residence.

All of our apartments are privately owned, individually furnished and equipped to the highest standards. Please note that some apartments are non-smoking.

The apartments consist of main living area with sliding door to convert into a separate bedroom, cabin style bedroom with bunk beds the lower of which is a double, small fully equipped open plan kitchen leading onto dining area, bathroom with wash hand basin and bath with shower, separate wc and balcony. The apartments have lift access.

16 Le Zig Zag has been newly renovated. In 16 Le Zig Zag there are a flat screen TV, video, DVD and hifi so don’t forget to bring your favourite music and films with you. There will also be a few books available so if you wish to borrow or swop please do. Some of the other apartments will not have video, DVD and hifi.

Part of our service is to offer you the opportunity of having discounted ski hire that can be booked on-line via our website, discounted lift passes that can be ready when you arrive and ski lessons that can be booked in advance, just let us know.

SKIING & BOARDING

Our chalets and apartment are in the heart of the Paradiski area (420km of piste) offering more than enough variety for any level of skier or snowboarder. The Paradiski area comprises of the 2 huge ski areas of La Plagne and Les Arcs linked by the new Vanoise Express cable car. Montchavin-Les Coches is perfectly placed in the centre giving quick and easy access to both areas.

The Paradiski area has something for everybody. For beginners there are two local areas specifically designed for you in Les Coches with nursery slopes separated from, but next to, one of the tree lined runs, which leads back to the chalet. A network of snow cannons on the lower slopes ensures that you will normally be able to ski back home.

The wide blues and reds of the Paradiski area are perfect for intermediates and the blacks on the Bellcôte Glacier and Aiguille Rouge are testing enough for any advanced skier or boarder. The famous off-piste route down the North Face of the Bellcôte Peak is well worth experiencing - you will need a qualified guide to show the way, we can vouch for the fact that it is awesome.

This is a great area for boarders, beginners and experts alike. There are some fantastic cruisy blues to get you started, a great off-piste playground, half pipe, board parks and boarder cross.
