Chalet Versoye has been built in the traditional alpine style and the interior is finished in wood giving a warm and relaxed atmosphere. It is in a great location in the picturesque mountain village of Montchavin, an authentic Savoyarde village and a vibrant ski station, at the heart of the Paradiski area. The views of the Tarentaise valley are fantastic with Mont Blanc taking the centre stage.

The chalet is just 50 metres from the cable car and piste and only 250 meters from the nearest chair lift with easy access to ski hire, ski school meeting points, bars, restaurants, the crèche and the night-club. Only 20 minutes from the link to Les Arcs.

The chalet accommodation sleeps 10-14 people with 5 ensuite bedrooms consisting of:

Ground Floor
• Ski and boot room

First Floor
• cosy lounge with flat screen TV and DVD and hifi
• Large dining area
• Bedroom 1 : twin room with ensuite shower and wc

Second Floor
• Bedroom 3 : quadruple room (3 single beds and 1 bed on mezzanine) with ensuite shower room and wc and balcony
• Bedroom 4 : triple room (twin and 1 bed on mezzanine) with ensuite bathroom and wc and balcony
• Bedroom 5 : triple room (twin and 1 bed on mezzanine) with ensuite shower and wc
• Bedroom 6 : small triple room (double and 1 bed on mezzanine) with ensuite shower and wc

The chalet is well equipped to entertain our guests with plasma TV, DVD, games, books, hifi and wifi. A selection of DVDs and videos will be available in the chalet but feel free to bring your own. We have wireless broadband, which will allow guests to read their emails in the privacy of their own rooms.

The village of Montchavin has a Jacuzzi and sauna suite, coffee bars, shops and a small cinema showing original version films a couple of times a week.

We supply all the bed linen and towels. Outdoor shoes are not allowed in the chalet so it is a good idea to bring slippers or indoor shoes. Please note that this is a non-smoking chalet, however you are welcome to smoke on the balconies.

I'd just like to thank you both for a great week. Everyone said they really enjoyed the holiday (even the partial skiers) and all were very impressed with the level of service they got, and the whole set-up in general. So again, many thanks for a great week's skiing.

I wanted to thank you for such a fabulous holiday. It is the first time I have stayed in a chalet; a significant step up from the normal bunkhouse Kram would have me in! It was just wonderful. I have to say it was extremely good value for money, and we absolutely loved Steve and Lorna. Oh to be in your 20's again.

The food veggie food was really well thought out, and the hospitality just right.
Once we actually got into the fact that someone was there to assist our holiday, it was plain sailing, I'm not used to be so looked after.

SKIING & BOARDING

Our chalets and apartment are in the heart of the Paradiski area (420km of piste) offering more than enough variety for any level of skier or snowboarder. The Paradiski area comprises of the 2 huge ski areas of La Plagne and Les Arcs linked by the new Vanoise Express cable car. Montchavin-Les Coches is perfectly placed in the centre giving quick and easy access to both areas.

The Paradiski area has something for everybody. For beginners there are two local areas specifically designed for you in Les Coches with nursery slopes separated from, but next to, one of the tree lined runs, which leads back to the chalet. A network of snow cannons on the lower slopes ensures that you will normally be able to ski back home.

The wide blues and reds of the Paradiski area are perfect for intermediates and the blacks on the Bellcôte Glacier and Aiguille Rouge are testing enough for any advanced skier or boarder. The famous off-piste route down the North Face of the Bellcôte Peak is well worth experiencing - you will need a qualified guide to show the way, we can vouch for the fact that it is awesome.

This is a great area for boarders, beginners and experts alike. There are some fantastic cruisy blues to get you started, a great off-piste playground, half pipe, board parks and boarder cross.
