Description
Chalet Marini provides versatile accommodation to cater for all types of parties, from families and friends to corporate groups.
While chalets of similar size tend to lose the ‘mountain feel’, Marini has plenty of traditional character and is a spacious, warm and cosy place to relax and unwind although its large dining table provides the catalyst for a lively and entertaining atmosphere!
Facility Description
The spacious living areas are split between the dining room on the ground floor and the lounge on the first. Both of these living rooms have south facing balconies giving stunning views across the valley with the dining room also having a large sun deck. Complete with log fire the chalet is ideal for a large group of friends or individuals who want to enjoy mixed atmosphere. The hot water is endless, the ski and boot room contains a heated boot rack.
Marini has three members of staff who will look after you and your party during your stay. They will have one full day off during the week. On this day continental breakfast will be left for you to help yourselves and in the evening you will have the chance to sample one of Meribel's many restaurants. A continental breakfast, afternoon tea and a three course evening meal with compliementary wine, will be served every day except for the staff's day off. As a group you can opt for a two course evening meal plus cheese board if you are looking for a cheaper alternative with a reduction in price of £20 per person per week. less
Location Description
This is the original village of Meribel and retains many traditional farm buildings as well as newer 'ski chalets', it is one mile from the modern ski resort centre but maintains the same altitude. The village has a bar and two restaurants, tourist office, bread shop and Spar general shop.
Access to the slopes could not be easier the golf chair lift is just 150m from your chalet, whisking you high up into the Three Valley's.
Access to Meribel centre if required is by the courtesy Ski Basics minibus service (which runs untill 1 am in the evening). It is a 20 minute walk if you want the exercise!
