Description
Our accomodation is the 10 bed chalet, Haus Luxus, in the town of Mayrhofen, Austria. The guest house is English run, a home from home. The lounge has a English Sky TV, DVD Player, Internet access and an XBox. Each bedroom has TV/Stereo/DVD Player and tea/coffee facilities. There is an undercover patio area at the front of the property, where you can enjoy a cold beer or glass of wine at the end of your day.
All the food served in the chalet is homemade and a lot of the ingerdients are sourced from the garden. Whether on the Half Board Plus package or Bed & Breakfast Basic, our service is kept at a high standard.
Our half board catered package consists of a cooked and continental breakfast (7 mornings) plus a 4 course evening meal (6 evenings), giving you one night to enjoy one of the local restaurants.
Facility Description
The lounge has a large screen TV, Uk and German Sky, DVD player with large selection of DVD's, Stereo with mp3/iPod cable, X-Box with selection of games, selection of books and board games.
Each bed room has coffee/tea making facilities, TV and DVD player, stereo with mp3/iPod cable, sink and balcony.
The dining room has hot drink making facilities and ample seating.
The ski/snowboard room has heated boot rack, ski/snowboard maintenance table with vices for skiig and snowboards, with waxing iron and all files and screw drivers.
Each floor has bathroom and WC.
Location Description
Haus Luxus is located in the Stillupklamm area of Mayrhofen, on the south side of the village.
The closest FREE bus stop is just 200m from Haus Luxus, and takes you to the main Penken lift station, the Ahorn lift station, the Horberg lift station, to the Hintertux glacier (and all the lift stations on the way) and to the train station.
A supermarket is conveniently located 200m away and you will find many bars, cafes and restaurants in the village centre and surrounding area. The distance into the village centre and to the Mayrhofen summer lift stations is 1200m.
