Superbly situated ski in / ski out catered chalet at the edge of the piste just above Les Castors bar and only 150 metres from main lifts and ski-school meeting points at the Chaudanne in Meribel.
Facility Description
Le Grand Duc comprises two individual chalet apartments. They are available catered in the winter and catered or self catered in the summer.
Chalet Apartment 'A' sleeps eight in comfort and has four twin / double bedrooms, three with en-suite facilities and one separate, and is ideal for families, groups of friends or for the individual skier. If one party books the whole accommodation there are two additional sofa beds on the mezzanine.
The spacious and welcoming living room with its log fire and west facing balcony has splendid views of the surrounding mountains.
We pride ourselves on quality catering. Cooked or continental breakfast comes with a choice of cereals, fresh bread, fruit and yoghurt. Afternoon tea with a freshly baked cake will await your return.
Pre-dinner drinks and savouries are served in the evenings followed by a freshly prepared four-course meal, with superior quality wines.
Location Description
The chalet is superbly situated at the edge of the piste about 150 metres from main lifts and ski-school meeting points at the Chaudanne and only a few minutes walk from the centre of the town. This luxury catered ski chalet is in a quiet position at the edge of the piste, you can ski to and from the front door and be at the main lifts and Ski School meeting points, just 150 metres away, in a matter of seconds. The Olympic ice rink, swimming pool and other leisure facilities are close by and shops, bars and restaurants are only a short walk away. At the end of the day, after enjoying your 'aprés ski' you can return to the chalet on a blue run.
