Description
CoolChalets in winter offer catered accommodation in Chalet Amelie. Situated on the outskirts of Bourg St Maurice, Les Arcs, in the exciting new Paradiski area combining the already popular ski/board resorts of les Arcs and la Plagne. We are also UNIQUELY PLACED to offer easy options to visit Meribel, Val d’Isere, Courchevel, Tignes, La Thuile, La Rosiere and others.
Facility Description
We can sleep 8 comfortably in 4 bedrooms on 2 floors. However, we have a total of 10 beds if people wish to sleep more than 2 in a room. 2 of the bedrooms have en suite bathrooms and the other 2 share a bathroom. There is a large open plan living and dining room with wood burning stove. The sitting room is equipped with comfy sofas, Sky satellite TV, DVD, Stereo, Playstation 2 and completely FREE broadband wireless Internet. There is a computer at the chalet for guests use.
Breakfast is continental which includes a selection of cereals, tea, coffee, orange juice, toast & croissants. Afternoon tea is served by the fire on your return from a day on the pistes along with delicious cakes. Dinners are hearty 3 course meals (with as much wine as you like during the meal) and often include local specialities and local wine.
OK, so you’ve been skiing all day, now what? Here at Chalet Amelie we believe in total relaxation. The hot tub (Jacuzzi) will ease the most tired legs and if that’s not enough, we offer an in-chalet massage service. Anna Beadle and her associates have a solution to those aches and pains after tearing around the slopes. They offer a mobile massage service where they bring everything needed, right down to the music, to facilitate the perfect compliment to any winter holiday. The treatments offered include Swedish Massage, Sports Massage, Aromatherapy, Reflexology, Stone Therapy, Deep Tissue and Facials. For all you business men & women, netties, techies or just gadget & gizmo fans. The chalet has WiFi access to broadband Internet UNLIMITED AND FREE. Bring your digital camera and accessories along to record all the fun during your holiday and we’ll help with arranging slide shows and downloading them onto CD and DVD so you can take thousands of snaps home whatever size your cameras memory card is.
Location Description
Built in Savoie style with a modern touch featuring a huge picture windows giving stunning views over La Plagne and towards Mount Blanc. The chalet is only 5 minutes drive from the funicular for speedy access to the Paradiski (Les Arcs + La Plagne) ski area. Our private free minibus service runs from our door to the funicular. Additionally a FREE ski bus (with ski lift pass) also stops right outside our Chalet. This service, combined with locker storage at the TOP of the funicular means little if any walking around in ski boots.
