Les Carroz is part of the fabulous Grand Massif Ski Area, home to the High Altitude resort of Flaine and easily accessed from the nearby Les Carroz telecabine.
Facility Description
Chalet D'Arles is set over three floors and offers cosy and comfortable accommodation for up to 10 people.
Superb location, only 600 metres from the Telecabine and 10 mins walk from the restaurants, bars and shops in Les Carroz village centre
There are two double bedrooms on the first floor, both with access onto the sunny balcony and lovely views of the surrounding trees and mountains.
A family bathroom is situated on the Ground Floor and the First floor.
On the Ground Floor, there is one twin room and one bunk room. The twin room offering a a triple bunk option, great for adults or children wishing to share. The twin room is off the living room and has a high apex ceiling.
There is a spacious open plan dining and seating area for you to enjoy the delicious cuisine served to you by your hosts and to relax and unwind over the days events beside the warmth of the log burner.
The seating area is further enhanced by a Flatscreen television, DVD player and IPOD connected sound system and WiFi internet connection
A mezzanine/snug area also offers a separate place for you to enjoy or a safe place for the children to play, watch DVD's or use the Playstation!
On the lower ground floor, there is a further twin room which is accessed via the boot room (please note occupants of this bedroom use the Ground Floor bathroom)
There is also plenty of outside space to enjoy, why not have fun on our very own sledging slope or relax in the winter sunshine on the sunny balcony, accessed from the seating area, with a vin chaud!
The Boot Room and ski storage area is spacious and your private mini bus will be parked right outside
Location Description
The Grand Massif ski area is one of the largest, and most scenic ski areas in France. It is renowned for it’s remarkable snow record due to the close proximity of Mont Blanc and is in the Top 3 snow sure resorts in France.
The area consists of the 5 villages of Les Carroz, Morillon, Samoens, Sixt fer a Cheval and the high altitude resort of Flaine which are all linked. There are 265km of pistes, 78 lifts, 133 slopes with 15 green, 53 blue, 51 red and 14 black along with some of the best off-piste skiing around.
Flaine (maximum height 2,500 metres) is the gate to one of the biggest ski and snowboard areas in France, aptly named 'Le Grand Massif'. The 133 pistes are all connected, and Flaine, whether you’re skiing or snowboarding, prefer freeride, freestyle or carving, you’ll enjoy your favourite snowsport in a magnificent setting.
LES CARROZ
Chalet D'Arles is approximately 10 minutes walk from the traditional Alpine village of Les Carroz. Offering fantastic skiiing, with beautiful, tree-lined slopes and a great variety of pistes for all levels. You can easily access the rest of the superb Grand Massif area via the Kedeuze Telecabine (1 minute away in our private mini bus)!
Les Carroz has numerous excellent restaurants including bistros, gourmet, traditional French Savoyard and Pizzerias. A range of cafes and bars and numerous shops cater for all your needs.
There are typical French markets, shops, restaurants, cash points, doctors, chemists, a cinema, an ice skating rink, creche, swimming pools in summer, bakeries, supermarkets and everything else you would expect from a well equipped mountain resort.
