Chalet Jora

Chalet Jora is a traditional ski and snowboarding chalet situated in the heart of Bansko’s picturesque old town.

The chalet is ideally located, just a stones throw from the historical old town and main street where there is an abundance of local shops, bars, restaurants and night clubs. The main ski lift is a short walk away, however we provide daily shuttle services in our private minibus.

The chalet was renovated in the summer of 2008 to offer guests comfort and luxury as well as retaining traditional charming features such as the dark wood beams, wooden floors and a beautiful log fire. Creating the perfect atmosphere and environment to relax with a drink and a cake in the spacious lounge after a great day on the slopes.

There are 2 family rooms, each sleeping 4 people, 1 twin room, and 2 double rooms. The chalet also boasts 4 bathrooms, all equipped with powerful showers and one bath so that you can soak away any aches and pains following an energetic day on the slopes.

Chalet Jora is owned and run by Jay and Laura, an enthusiastic young English couple that will do all they can to entertain and make your holiday as enjoyable as possible. During your welcome drinks they will be more than happy to provide you with the information you need to make your stay special and memorable.

The Chalet is a two minute walk to both the main street & historic square, where you will find a wide variety of lively mehanas (traditional Bulgarian restaurants), traditional taverns, bars and night clubs. The gondola station in Bansko is only a 7 minute walk from the chalet, however we provide a shuttle service to and from the lift each day.
