So what's Les Gets like?

Les Gets is regarded by all as a pretty mountain village, with a friendly atmosphere. There is an active nightlife scene, but it's much quieter than it's neighbours, so if you're looking for banging apres ski then you might be better advised to stay in either Morzine or Avoriaz.

There is a good balance in the available chalet accommodation in Les Gets, with both catered chalets and self catered chalets equally represented. On of the big upsides of the resort is that Les Gets' chalets are largely ski-in/ski-out. Much like other resorts in the area, the competition in the chalet business means that you can get a pretty good deal on a catered chalet in Les Gets.

The resort is particularly suited to beginner and intermediate skiers, not only because of the gentle nature of the slopes but the extensive ski school options. For the slightly more advanced skier entertainment can be found in the form of the local snow park.
